I ground the hawk head from one of my old double bit axes, heat treat is still intact. The haft is a hickory wood double-bit axe handle that I have cut down. I tested this hawk before finishing it. It throws great, sticks great, the blade cuts/chops well, and the spike is deadly.
Specs:
OAL: 15.75"
Head Length: 7"
Edge Length: 3.75"
Handle: Hickory Wood
Sheath/Holster: Kydex with thick leather retention strap. "Out the Top" construction. Two Molle-Locks included.
The Hawk Head, Haft, and Sheath have been professionally Duracoated
*Not Pictured* - I have added a wax twine wrap to the handle for a better grip, can easily be removed if not desired.
$150.00 Shipped CONUS, Paypal Please, PM with questions. First I'll take it gets it.
