This is a spike tomahawk forged in the early style. Meaning its head shape, blade shape and spike are styled after early representations of spike tomahawks..The tomahawk was forged from a bar of 1045, edge hardened and heat treated. The head has been etched to an aged patina. The cutting edge is 3 1/8" wide and the head is 9" long including the spike.
