Spindle Sander

Do any of you use a spindle sander in your shop? I have a chance to get on on a trade for a small hunter I made. It seems like it might be handy for finger grooves and such. Any opinions ????

I'd take that trade in a second. It's great fro finger grooves and tight curves.

As I posted somewhere else, they are the poor man's(me), horizontal grinder. They work quite well for what you describe.

I use mine almost every time I am in the shop. Real hand tool.
