My table was next to Tommy's at the show, We had a great time.
Thanks to every one who came by and said Hello, and bought knives.

Tommy said he would reply here as soon as he gets a chance.
He's a very busy full time knife maker, from Canton, Texas.
So congratulations, and thanks Tommy and Larry ( tommy's Dad )
for a great weekend.

Any one who would like to add to this thread is more than welcome.

That is a beautiful bowie. I'm embarrassed to say that I wasn't aware such a talented maker was just down the road from me. (In Texas everything is just down the road). :D Congratulations Tommy.

You can't go wrong dealing with a guy like Tommy.
He's a journeyman Bladesmith.
He also won the Peck award in Atlanta. It couldn't happen to a nicer guy.
This knife here, Tommy told me is SOLD

That is one terrific bowie! Congrats to Tommy and thanks to you for the look.

My congratulations too, Tommy. fantastic work!

As I remember though, didn't you win 3 awards??:jerkit:

Nice bowie, but not $4,500 nice.

(Since you're not posting on the for sale forum, I'll take the liberty to comment on your pricing - something I woudn't do in the for sale forum...)

Hi Joss,

I agree 100% with you. That is about a $2,000 knife from Tommy.

Very nice knife, I saw it at the show last year.

Piece of advice Cpt G.

The guys on this forum know ABS knives. So you might want to adjust the price and put it in the for sale forum.

Here's the Dogbone Bowie Tommy made for the last Blade Show.
I examined it on two occations and it's one of the highest quality and well executed Bowies I have ever had the pleasure of handling and the price didn't even approach $2000. However the Bowie shown is an excellent example and the awards add.

A very nice knife indeed, but I'm afraid I find the above attempted sale in very poor taste.

Sorry, just felt it needed to be said.
