Spivey Knives?

Have any of you ever handled one of these knife? Saw it on a horse site of all things looked interesting.

I've played with 1. Spivey wanted to show how useful his design was and if I remember correctly he and some friends rode horseback from Baja CA to Canada living off the land as they went using the knife as the primary cutting implement. I didn't fall in love with the design myself although it was a solid knife.
 
I own a Jefferson Spivey knife. Bought it back in '89. It was my first handmade knife.
Pretty awesome hunk of steel. and those saw-teeth can cut.
As I understand it, he no longer makes knives. I think he still lives in Oklahoma.

Thanks for replying gents.
I was looking on the website again.
They are selling the Spivey knives for $450.00.A bit pricey to me but it is a nice looking knife.May have to keep eyes open for used one.
