Photos "Spoiler" knives

Spyderco Military for me. Just can’t beat it. That and a benchmade 710 are all I currently have and I’m happy! Spoiled just about everything else.
I hope to eventually get to a point where I'm content with just a couple of knives.

K ktataragasi Here it is today - on marmalade duty..!

That's great that you use it and it looks like you have had it for quite a while.

spydy gayle bradley 2 ... cpm-m4 with a thin hollow super slicy grind, strong point, exquisite blade shape overall & built like a tank without the chunky aspects most other tanks end up with

I have thought about this knife several times but I like to limit how many knives I have from one company. I may end up getting this one eventually though.

Only a "spoiler", in that it satisfied my interest in having a sodbuster pattern. I liked them, but I was never quite able to find one that I wanted to own.

This oddity comes from overseas, and it might even be titanium.

Any more details? It looks good.

It's discontinued. Called the "Puppy" by Mosquito Tactical. Blade says M390, but China doesn't have the AISI, so who knows?

Spine is 3/32 thick, blade length is 3 & 1/4". Closed length is 4 & 5/8. Thickness across the scales is just under 1/2". It should have a slip case to really carry properly, but the nicely rounded edges means I can live with it loose in my pocket.

I was losing interest in modern folders, and this was a nice half-step away from modern knives, although I got stuck on modern traditionals.

It was expensive for me, and mine came through with a recurve in the blade that I had to sharpen out. To say nothing of the engraving on the inside of the scale, which is a stylized version of the dog in their trademark, doing it's business. I don't have to look at it, so I can ignore it....

Yes. Here is the poncy* one in M390 and blue-black micarta. Very tasty, eh? But somehow not quite as good in my hand. It is better on paper.

*English slang.

That is a good looking knife!

My 'spoiler' knives are my 'regular' carry-combo: CRK + Victorinox in alox. Doesn't get any better for me... :)

I think that's one of the best looking blade shapes out there.

The WE Banter has been a recent acquisition that has made me question my collection.

This little 108$ 3 inch blade is so fun to deploy, it's incredibly smooth and addicting. The handle is so comfortable for a smaller knife, and the blade shape is so simple yet it still is able to stand out and look unique in the simplest way.
