Here is my latest creation, I call it my spontoon war hawk! It is a celtiform style hawk where the blade is wedged or burned into the handle. Usually A big gnarly stick!
This one is burned in, epoxied and pinned. The handle is Oregon vine maple (very sturdy stuff, makes a great self bow also) and is wrapped in artificial sinew. It also comes with a leather blade cover, dyed to match the handle.

Specs:
OAL - 21"
Blade length - 5.5"
Handle - Vine maple
Steel - L6

Asking $165 TYD in the CONUS
Paypal preferred.
Thanks for looking!

Wow. L6 spontoon hawk. That is a killing machine with zero utilitarian value. Nice work. I'd like to see one with a more modern handle. I've always loved spontoon hawks and you rarely see good ones. I think this is only the second or third one I've ever seen on bladeforums.

Thanks for all the compliments guys! As much as I like "practical" blades , "scary" blades are so much more fun to design!
