Pitdog sent me a design. I said that looks cool.

After thinking about it some. I decided a 5" long blade version of the pic that pitdog sent to me would be cool to have in the shop to show people when they come to visit my shop.

Hi Bryan, Did you make one for Pit dog ? Also I tried The bow drill thing today with a cider spindle and hearth .I got smoke but no coal.The naber came over and had a dry cider board and the same thing. Smoke but no coal. I used the shot glass also. need to try again.
 
Jeff, you mean did I make a knife like I sent you to look at for pitdog also? If that is what you ment no I did. He just sent that design to me and asked what I thought of it. I thought it looked cool and so decided to make one up. I am wanting to and have started to have knives at my shop so I can show people when they come in to see my shop. Diffferent blade and handle shapes really help people get a idea of what they might want in there custom knife.

Yea, it seems lot of people like ceder.

You should try that sotal or yucca in your area. Give that a try and I bet you nail it on your first try. if not your second lol.

Cool, let us know how it goes.
I bet you get a coal pretty darn quick with it.
Then it will be time to try that with other woods and see what you think of that lol.
