Just got these babies today and for $15.00 for three they are worth it.

They come in three seperate bubble wrap packages. Nice if you want to give them as gifts. Once out of the package 1st impression was wow. I thought they were going to have a cheap hollow plastic handle but they are solid black molded plastic.
I smacked the handle with a small hammer to see if I could knock the handle loose but it stayed on. I then wrapped tape around the rod and placed it in my vise. I could not twist the handle off with my hand.
Steel length is 2-3/4" and a light clear coat on it.
Diameter is 5/16"
Overall length is 4"
It has a small black lanyard with a green (sawblade chunk) striker.
First few strikes did not produce much spark due to the coating but once through the coating she threw great sparks. Just as good as my Swedish Firesteel. Dropped it in a glass of water for a few minutes. Took it out and presto! Nice eye blinding shower of sparks.
The only cheap thing on it is the "hacksaw blade" chunk for a striker but it works very well.
All in all they are a great buy.
