Spray or paint?

Go to hardware store, pick up can of paint stripper, buy for 5-10 dollars.

No reason to over think this bud.

ETA: As we all know the paint or whatever it is on kabar knives is crap, it almost comes off from looking at it. My piss after drinking a pint of makers mark would probably strip it off.

The new coating is supposed to be tougher than the ESEE coating, so I'm assuming several times tougher than the old coating, and it's not the price for me at this point, it's the time it takes to get here.
