Took a stroll in the city today. The mission was find hot strong coffee, strong enough to kill the leftover Jack Daniels in my veins. Got my cup of joe, gulped some down, and took some pictures of all the little flowers popping up in peoples gardens and lanes.

first off, a little water fountain:

next up a bunch of BRIGHT colored flowers:

lets just say it would take a nuke under the sheath to pop the knife out. Retention is BOMBER!

I got some more gear pics coming, of something that i have wanted for a very long time. scored a wicked deal on it, almost $120 bucks off (it was lightly used by one of our CDN Forces men over in the Middle East). Pics of the new gear tomorrow after the BC Bladeforums hike!

Nice macro shots. Keep it family friendly though ....all those stamens could get you into trouble ;)

awesome pics... those are some vibrant colors... it's making me want to sneeze just looking at them...:o

nice sheath too.. Erics work is top notch....

Sweet pics and nice sheath you've got there.

Might be time to clean the office..... ;)

They're gonna change your name to Macroman-5:D

Beautiful shots bro:thumbup:

Nice shots, B5. Macro is a lot of fun.

Not to hijack your thread, but if you, or anybody else, for that matter could take a couple of pictures of Daffodils and Irises (separate pictures), poking up out of the ground, I would appreciate it. I want shoot pictures, not flowers in full bloom. I want to use them as comparative pictures with Common Day Lily shoots - Day Lilies being edible and Daffodils and Irises not!!!!

TIA,

Doc
