 The April showers let up a bit today and allowed me and Ranger (the INFI dog) to have a walk, and whack some Cedar. Life just doesn't get much better than that, fellas.
The NMFBM is a BEAST... the blade length gives it incredible chopping power. I whacked this Cedar which was growing underneath a beautiful Live Oak (found guilty of stealing water, under penalty of death). It happens to be perfect size for a baton for further testing.
Ranger has his own pack. A dog needs to earn his keep and haul his own around here.
Although, he doesn't mind me adding some additional weight from time to time. I don't let him carry it often... one biatch in heat and I lose em both. Can't blame him though, I was the same way in my youth.
To put the NMFBM into perspective, this is a 4" blade 'HACK'next to the NMFBM sheath.
I believe Jerry should consider releasing the 4" HACK or similar to everyone... it is a perfect hunting knife!
The new Woodland digi-camo seemed to be a great fit for the hack.. so I whipped one up, and included a fire steel with stag handle. Fire and INFI should get me through just about anything...
and a nice steak.
