Spring into Spring with a "Barlow a Day for Thirty Days"

Day 8: The Camillus is growing on me. I oiled the joints and played with it a bit. The main is still pretty stiff, and the pen is nearly a nailbreaker. However, the main is just soft enough for me to open confidently. I wish I had more reliable access to the pen blade, but if my hands are wet that thing is staying shut. I'll work on it some more today.

I wish I had seen this thread sooner.

I've been carrying the same folder for almost two months straight so it's about time I switch it up a little. Barlow, you say? Yeah, I think I can ride out the rest of the allotted period with a Barlow in my pocket. I'll carry this old favorite for a few days - maybe more!

On day 8 I have a RR I’ve never carried or used. I bought it on a whim for $15 just to see what all the hubbub was about. Surprisingly it’s really well done, fit and finish, walk and talk, centered blades, real bone covers and so on. But, not to worry, for back up I have some good old made in US steel, so, I should be good.
