Spring is...springing

Very nice Mist,

You're lucky to be seeing all this new life sprouting up everywhere, i'm jealous :D. It seems that spring down there is about a month ahead of ours.

The worst part is, we aren't getting any of the white stuff either, it's just drab and slushy:thumbdn: I guess I'll live vicariously through your pics. Thanks.

My bees are giving me a thumbs up today, and they don't even have thumbs!

Thanks Doc. Lucky now yes, because living in a primarily deciduous forest I'm really looking forward to the green again. But by the time the mosquitoes get fired up good it won't seem quite as lucky...

Look's like a nice place. Like the knife.

It is a pretty nice area, thanks me too.

I was watching the carpenter bees raiding the wild flowers earlier. I hope the bees here fair better than the ones in parts of Australia did through their recent summer. A friend who raises bees in NSW was telling me that all the rains have been bad for honey production. He didn't get to collect any honey and he may have to feed his hives to get them through the coming fall and winter.

We hit 70oF today and the spring peepers were peeping. Super warm and wet out there but no green stuff yet, even the tree buds show no signs of swelling so far.

I don't usually like recurve blades, but on that knife the grind and recurve seem to compliment one another rather nicely. Looks like a stout knife.

It was miserable down here, we had it hit 85oF.

Combined with all the pollen and gnats, it made.....

HELL
