Trackrock Hammer-in
Date: Weekend of March 28, 29, 30th, 2008
Location: Trackrock Campground, Blairsville, GA
Directions: WWW.TRACKROCK.COM
Activities: Bladesmithing, Hawk forging, Leather Crafting, Forge Building,
Knife Talk, and Anything Knife Related
Who: Anyone interested in knives, hawks, leather work, collecting, trading, etc.
Watch, meet and talk several talented bladesmiths.
See what it takes to transform old discarded steel scrap metal into functional works of art.
General: Fine craftsmen from several states attend, some collectors bring their collections
to display, knifemaking supply vendors, others that just like to look at and talk about knives.
For those of you that RSVP for Saturday’s lunch, there will be a BBQ lunch at cost. There is limited vending on site (Soda machine and ice) so bring your own grub otherwise.
Bring a chair if you like or need to sit.
This is a family oriented event, so you are expected to behave.
No unsafe or reckless behavior will be tolerated.

Best News: It’s open to all and there’s no admission fees, so come on up.

Accomodations: Full hook-up and primitive camping available on site (check above web site), Trackrock is an excellent campground and very well maintained. There are also several hotels nearby in Blairsville and Young Harris.

Note: For Saturday lunch please let me know at least two weeks in advance so
Anthony will have time to prepare.

Please contact me if you wish to participate, or need any further information.
