Yep the "real drinkers" are at the Esse or Busse forums. We'll have a contest at Becker West. In sure Ethan is in!

If moose tea bags anyone can that be consideted a man made shelter?

Just choked on my morning coffee, made the dogs bark and now the wife is up, giving me the stink eye for waking her up before 8 on a saturday morning. thanks for the good laugh Luke!

does moose bath regular/ if so he will do as a party favor, the rest we can work around!

so when it says to use man made and natural materials in either the firemaking or shelter making, does that mean that each fire must be made using a manmade AND a natural material (i.e. using a firesteel (manmade) with some fatwood shavings (natural)), or does it simply mean we just have to make them using either man made or natural materials?

Or with shelter making for instance, can i just string up a hammock with a rain fly, or must i figure out how to work a natural component into it as well for it to count?

Alright, i get it's a confusing question....i hope it makes sense.

hammock with rainfly = 1 type of shelter.
debris hut = 1 type of shelter
sleeping in the foot well of your kayak = 1 type of shelter....

you can use manmade and/or natural materials to build your fires -- but if you use both a ferro rod and fatwood in one of the 5, you can't use either of those ingredients in the other 4.

Yea, thats what i figured. Thanks for the clearup. I was just a little unsure if you HAD to use both manmade and natural materials in each one. My mistake.

Since we cant get all of the photos in one post anyway can we have more than 2 pics per fire, water ect????????

Yeah, that will work. I usually limit the pics, mostly because E's bandwidth, but thats not an issue anymore.

Give it hell, just don't take it too far.
