Doc
so when it says to use man made and natural materials in either the firemaking or shelter making, does that mean that each fire must be made using a manmade AND a natural material (i.e. using a firesteel (manmade) with some fatwood shavings (natural)), or does it simply mean we just have to make them using either man made or natural materials?
Or with shelter making for instance, can i just string up a hammock with a rain fly, or must i figure out how to work a natural component into it as well for it to count?
Alright, i get it's a confusing question....i hope it makes sense.
hammock with rainfly = 1 type of shelter.
debris hut = 1 type of shelter
sleeping in the foot well of your kayak = 1 type of shelter....
you can use manmade and/or natural materials to build your fires -- but if you use both a ferro rod and fatwood in one of the 5, you can't use either of those ingredients in the other 4.
Since we cant get all of the photos in one post anyway can we have more than 2 pics per fire, water ect????????
Good luck to you all. I'm thinking about doing a few of mine over again if time permits. I think I might have duplicated a few things too much.
