Sprint Run for V-Toku2 ETA?

Liking the handle color on these..might have to pick one up.

GP Knives is showing five of these in stock.

Come on knife center where are you? I pre ordered 6 months ago and the wait is killing me
I’ve got one on the way from another supplier...I’ve not had luck with Kcenter on two previous pre-orders...Just my experience.

Just grabbed an Endura from HQ. Looking forward to seeing this one in person. May make it mine new dress knife.

Still waiting..

You guys posting pics of the beautiful patina forming on your Endura's are not helping.:D

Over on the Spyderco Forum somebody posted a pic of the V-TOKU Delica they just got from the SFO. So it looks like the Delicas should be dropping soon.

These get released in waves usually. They will go quick but they should be randomly popping up at dealers over the course of a week.

These are also currently available from reputable sellers on the bay. Normal pricing with free shipping even.

DLT Trading still has the Delica in stock. Having just bought the HAP40 Wharncliffe I'm sitting this round out and waiting for the Dragonfly.

Mine arrived today from two different dealers.
Very nice QC, every detail is well done.
Anxious to compare with the HAP-40 Delica/Endura.

Regards,
FK

I too am interested in how the steel compares to HAP40. So far I'm still preferring S30V over HAP40 but we will see how it compares to these two.

That super blue, what angle is it sharpened to? Is the line in the middle of the patina the shoulder of a bevel? With a microbevel added?

Yup, that is the shoulder of the bevel. I am unsure what the angle is. I did it freehand but would guess around 20 degrees, maybe less. Since it was done freehand it is slightly convex. The microbevel is done at 30 degrees with a sharpmaker. It cuts really well.

Wow! Cuts well has to be an understatement. I bet it slices like no body’s business.

I'm waiting for a set up custom scales for mine but today is recycle day so it's going to see some serious cardboard breakdown. I'm sure it will dull but I'm also interested in how much work it will take to touch up back to shaving sharp. I did strop it this morning to ensure there is no burr that I have to deal with.
