Hmmm.... did they take the thread down????

From what I saw before I tried to reply and the thread "couldn't be found," she's a beauty! Hope all of you that want one can get one (shouldn't be a big issue).

Since I already have the TNT-15, the Swamp Rat Waki, and the F-16, I'm probably going to let this one pass. I think at this point the only thing that is going to pry money out of my wallet for a sword is going to have to be a minimum of 20", preferably even 22" to 24".

The thread is back up, thanks for catching that!

I don't have the TNT-15, but this seems to be an improved version of that. I'm a sucker for swords and own the F-16, FMV14 and OMG-15.

If my heart wasn't set on the Carothers K20 as being my ideal Wakizashi, I would be all over this. I would love to see a bigger OMG-15 in 3V though (with a fuller). That would be incredible.

So is Jerry or Garth or Voodoo going to fill us in on what to expect performance-wise (edge holding, toughness, corrosion resistance) from SR3V @ 60-62 HRC as compared to INFI or SR101 (or any other steel, for that matter—howzit stack up to “ordinary” CPM3V or “Delta 3V”)?

We know we want it, but why SHOULD we want it?

I agree with your assessment it seems to be an improved version of the TNT-15. Maybe they will eventually produce an even longer one....
