Spyderco 2012 Catalog

The Southfork, Air and orange Dodo will be mine. Along with the M390 Military and M390 Para2. Can't wait for them to release them.

I got really excited for the GB Air till I saw that it was clipless. I guess I could tie a paracord around the last pillar, but I hope they add a wire clip for the production run.

I'm considering the following:

Techno
Air [hope to see a clip as well]
Sage 4
Memory
LionSpy
Puukko

No particular order, but the Sage 4 and Memory are probably priority on my "list". :D

Great catalog.

Nothing in the Byrd line appeals to me aesthetically, but I do like that people can grab a nice knife for a good price...

Some models that stand out and are getting added to the "list": Junior, Des Horn, Air, and I've always wanted a Kiwi and the Lum CF...

I know most of us are just seeing/hearing about these new knifes for the first time, but I'm curious if anyone has the scoop on if there will be any sprint Manix2 XL's coming at some point? I've not owned a sprint run Spydie yet.

Saw the titanium fluted military in there. Are more of these being made in 2012???

Deacon,
You are right, silly me, I looked in the fixed blades. I was also given another page number by a friend that turned out to be U.K slip joints.

NP, putting it in with the Ethnic Series knives makes sense in one way, but is confusing too. I know my natural inclination would be to look for it with the fixed blades.

I hope the Tuff makes it out next year. I'd also really like to see a Safety/Rescue/Blaze Orange G-10 Para 2 as well as a Spyderedge Para 2. Some kitchen knives would be really cool too.

I'm definantely getting the two Para 2 special orders from BHQ and BBS, the Phil Wilson Southfork and the Gayle Bradley Air. There looks like a lot of good offerings.

That Manix XL doesn't strike you? Nor the Pygmy Warrior?

If the manix XL is carved out of 5/32 blade stock like the original, I may have to pick one up, but even the original had a pretty fine tip...a pretty fragile tip. The same weakness shared by most all of the spyderco ffg knives... great slicers, but not the toughest blades for harder use, IMHO, YMMV....
