HAP 40 Delica is on my brain. Need a new small(ish) EDC.
Any idea what the schedule is on these?

Sal stated that the Endura will be the first released in HAP40 and it was scheduled for Sept although maybe it will be delayed. Then the Delica shortly after.

I was doing a list of knives I want and realized the knifeworks military Ti with a cf scale is way up high in the list.

Hopefully soon. I have had them pre ordered for awhile and once a week I get update email. Everytime I see it I think "woohoo!!!!!!! It shipped!!!!" Then I read the email and its just "we have not forgot about you" and get disappointed.

I'm curious to hear what owners think of these.

It is a fairly versatile tool with a very obvious anti-personnel bent. I think the potential will be hard for most people to realize, since its pretty much specialized for LEO and anyone else who is likely to actually use this thing in combat, to tear down or pry open a door, or as a climbing implement. Most people will just have one to play with it, probably.

As with anything Laci does, it is highly stylized and totally overbuilt. You have to get one of his tools in your hand and really work with it before the lightbulb turns on.

I asked Laci about the D2 steel choice and he said "it's .3" thick" which pretty much explains it. D2 is a tool steel, after all, and this thing isn't going to break without a lot of effort. There were some concerns about this, but frankly I think they are overblown.
