It was a tounge in cheek comment for the BF member that was a bit bent out of shape about the compression lock.

I was being a jerk, those models are not going to production as far as I know.

No. Just waiting to go to dealers. They do final QC of all models in Golden prior to shipment to dealers.

Last year Spyderco delivered 14 new models to dealers in December 2016!

So far in December 2017 we’ve only seen 3 new models.
