Spyderco Air?

Thanks FDE, I thought I was the only one that thought if you don't like the clip, take it off. And CF would look much better the silver.

+1 to FDE & brules1 - I seem to move back and forth between taking the clips off and putting them back on.

Also, I agree a CF option would be nice. Just afraid it would drive the price up even more than it already is....

You never know, we might see a similar design that does have a clip and carbon fiber. Spyderco is awesome like that. But yes, this is certainly a gentleman's knife. It can't really be compared to a Para 2, both knives have their place. You get the Air if you want to open letters, cut apples, and remove stray threads, all while not scaring the hell out of co-workers in the office. I think every knife knut should have at least one civilized gentleman's knife. We've all been in a situation where it would be more appropriate to use something like the Air vs a Para 2. Not that chopping apples in half with the Cold Steel Greatsword wouldn't be fun, but if you do it at work you won't last long.

Well, I ordered the Air, if nothing more than just giving it an eval. I hope that I like it as much as I do before actually getting it in my hands.

I know that it will have many limitations, but I really need to get it in my hands to give it an honest look, right?
