Spyderco Aqua Salt up for sale at KW!

Received my SE today. FRN handle is substantial and fits my hand well. Sharp , non-reflective blade. Nice sheath with clip. Make sure you seat the knife firmly in the sheath. It feels like it is in but you need the last push to lock it in place.
Zero rattle. I like it

Don't believe so. I think it has the same tang as the other Aqua's ...

+1 in this. Took me a couple of tries to register the audible and tactile click you detect when it seats correctly.
 
Are the new ones going to be made in yellow handle variants? I have only seen the all black versions so far.

I don't believe so. That would certainly be an interesting look, though!

As for the coating... I remember Mr. Janich saying in one of the videos that the most vocal proponents (aside from myself) of this knife being brought back were in the military community. Apparently they painted theirs to avoid unwanted reflections. Also, coating this version effectively distinguishes it from the first run, which Spyderco seems to like to do.

This is an absolutely lovely design, and my favorite spyderco fixed blade sheath. Retention is just perfect with no rattle, at least on my example. Light and "nimble" as others have pointed out. If I absolutely knew I was going to be in a knife fight, I'd want to carry the Warrior, but in any other situation (bushcraft aside), I'd want to have this one on me.
