I got to go to the SHOT Show today. I got to meet Kristi from the forums as well as Mrs. Glesser. Sal and Eric were there too but they were busy so I left them alone. Mrs. Glesser and I spoke for quite awhile. What a cool family. It's nice to know a that I buy knives from like minded people who are great Americans. Keep up the good work Spyderco....

I hear there are several new designs on display - WHERE DA PICS???????????????

I had never been to a SHOT show before. The rules on the registration said absolutely no photography unless you were and official media person, so I didn't bring a camera. I was flabbergasted by the size and scope of the show. Just the law enforcement part was 3 huge halls. I needed at least another day to see everything but only had a one day pass. It was a very good day though...

I'm looking forward to the Gator Cutlery Show in Lake at the end of the month now.

zensheepdog,
It was great to meet you. Thank you for coming by and spending some time with us in both booths!

Take care and be safe!

Kristi

I am dying to see the new manix prototypes. Will any promo picks be released for those of us who can't make the show?

Tazkristi,

I forgot the name of the Ethnic knife (prototype) with the triangular blade? I want one once it is in production!

It was very cool to get to meet you and put your name with your face. It's funny, I talked to Mrs. Glesser for a long time before I knew who she was. I said something about how I respected Sal's business decisions and then she told me who she was. She has some very interesting viewpoints.

I really enjoyed my time at the show and it only strengthened my desire for more Spydercos... I have 13 already.

Take care, maybe we'll get to see each other next time around!

Please tell me if it is true that Spyderco will be donating a portion of sales of the Sage to dementia research. If so I REALLY want to get a frame locked Sage.

I was also at the show and got to stop by both booths. Got to meet Kristi real quick and check out the new SmallFly and at the other booth got to talk to Sal for a few minutes and look at prototypes of the Leafstorm, RIL Sage, Chokwe, and many others including an amazing full size JD Smith done in green G-10. Talking with Sal was great as he reinforced his and all of Spyderco's utmost commitment to their customers. It was obviously a great time.
