hello, was wondering if anyone has one; would like to know if the handles scratch easily;are they polished or satin finished? are they like the police model? also was wondering if the knife is heavy in the pocket?thanks.......

I'm working on a review of the ATR right now. Lucky you!

The scales aren't even satin finished; it's more of a brushed finish, with the grind marks running fore and aft. My Police has a much smoother finish, even after all these years. The passaround ATR had some scratches when I got it, but the brushed finish helps hide 'em. And, yes, it's pretty heavy; in titanium it wouldn't be bad, but the steel one is a bit of a brick!

i had a feeling it would be heavy. i had a crkt mt whitney, it was solid, but those zinc handles weighed a ton in the pocket.much heavier than id like for edc.thanks for the info
