Hello all,

Today I have three (3) brand new in box Spyderco Sage 5 Maxamet knives for sale. The knives have been removed from their boxes to photograph and assess their conditions with gloved hands. These were bought on MAP holiday sale, so I'm asking what I paid to move them on.

Action, lock-up (just a hint of side-to-side play if you're looking for it; can be adjusted to your preference), and centering are great on all examples. I have not assessed sharpness on any of these knives. Spyderco typically does great in that regard, especially out of Taichung. Includes original box and inserts, paperwork, sticker.

Shipping & Terms and Conditions:

Price listed is what you pay. Ships USPS Priority Mail. First to comment "I'll take (knife)", along with a PM expressing interest will get a reserve on said knife. Payment via Paypal F&F. All payment details will be expressed via PM. Buyer must be willing to commit to making a payment within 24 hours, or the knife will pass on to any additional persons of interest. Knives will be shipped within 24 hours of payment received. Shipping to addresses within the USA only at this time. No interest in trades.

$190 per each knife; $360 takes a pair of two (2); $540 takes the lot of three (3). Looking to move these to (a) new homes!

Couple user Spydercos for consideration as well.

*Please note that the pricing for these includes shipping via USPS Ground Advantage (First Class Mail). All additional previously listed Shipping/Terms apply to these knives.

Up first is yet another Sage 5 in Maxamet (wow).

-Action is superb. Roll-out, flick, drop-shut: superb. Detent is moderate, not too loose, nor too tight. A slight degree of side-to-side blade-play is perceivable when pinching the tip of knife and wiggling side-to-side. Can be adjusted out at the pivot if necessary.

-Centering favors the clip side by a couple hairs. One of the bevels on the show-side of the spine looks to have been extended just a hair too far from the factory, giving the perception that only one side of the knife has a secondary bevel. This is illusory and will correct itself with an adjustment against proper lighting.

-Has been sharpened about 3 times. Edge nearest the heel could probably use a bit of a touch up, but otherise is copy paper slicing sharp. The bevels have been convexed. A couple scratches to the primary grind on both sides are present from this process, though nothing jarring.

-The knife has seen a few weeks of pocket carry, and moderate use doing household tasks. Slightest hint of a patina is showing, with just a bit of darkening observable on the SPYDERCO script on blade, and a faint amount at southern ring of spyderhole. Not much wear otherwise.

-Includes original box, paperwork + sticker. A light coat of Beeswax has been applied to the blade.

SOLD!

Up next is a S30V/Black G-10 Military 2.

-Action is incredibly smooth and fluid. Rolls out, flicks, and drops shut with ease. Perhaps a hair of lock stick perceivable upon closing, though it in no way impedes the action.

-Only perceivable blade-play is if you're pinching out at the tip of the knife when opened, and giving it a bit of muscle side-to-side; otherwise the lock up is solid. Never a perceivable issue in use, and the pivot can be tightened to absolve if preferred.

-Centering favors the show side scale.

-Has been sharpened a number of times and sports a convexed edge. The edge is currently sharp, though isn't "pretty" sharp (cosmetic). The convexity is quite consistent, but the edge is a bit hazy from the sharpening, which provided more difficulty to pick up accurately in the photographing.

-The convexing was done by hand on a X-Coarse DMT plate, and the primary bevels were "ground" to blend scratches. The primary bevels still show all of the scratches from this plate, and I have done what I can to illustrate that in the photos below. The bevels were not thinned out in doing so.

-The knife has been carried quite a bit as an EDC and has seen plenty of use, though no abuse. The scales and pocket clip show wear accordingly, and the G-10 has broken in and smoothed out a bit. As previously stated, the blade shows scratching, mostly at this point due to the "regrind". This was a user, and whilst she ain't the prettiest pig in the pen, she sure does perform.

-Includes original box, paperwork + sticker.
