Spyderco Bushcraft opinions

I was looking at this knife at a local store today. The G10 felt too heavy for my tastes, but the maple burl handle was perfect. The price was way too high though! $300 for the G10, and $350 for the maple, which had obvious cracks in it. They said they could reduce the price for me because of the cracks, but only by $50. I would absolutely LOVE to find one for a reasonable price. The sheath is hideous, so I would definitely be replacing it with something custom.
