Spyderco Byrd Line?

Where/when did you read/hear this? I've seen nothing to this effect on Spyderco's site, nor on dealer sites.
I just scrolled through a search for “Byrd” on BladeHQ. More knives are discontinued than are in production. There’s way more “discontinued” than available, and really just variations on a few models available.

Looks like some flavors of Harrier 2, Cara Cara 2, Meadowlark 2, Rescue 2 and the Crosbill are all that aren’t discontinued.

Makes sense really as Byrd and the Tenacious family live in the same budget world.

Edit: found this thread at the Spyderco forum discussing the Byrd Mass Extinction Event, lol.

Thanks for setting me straight. I failed to check the Spydie site forum, and BHQ is usually not my first stop. (Not a shot at BHQ, but of the major dealers, it's the one I have the least experience with.)
