spyderco caged ball bearing lock failure

The cage that holds the ball on my manix broke the other day, just out of the blue. Kinda weird, maybe a flaw.

The Manix can be tricky to fully disassemble and reassemble. Obviously it isn't forgiving of mistakes either.

On the bright side, you can fully remove one scale and liner at a time to thourougly clean or lubricate.
If you aren't changing the scales you don't even have to remove them from the lanyard tube, just pivot the scale and liner around it.
