I own one and carry it. The pinned construction just limits the knife. What if I want custom scales? Like I said - great knife! Its so small folded and/or in pocket, opened - it seems to grow. I have also experienced looking at the blade while the knife is open and thinking the blade couldn't possibly fit in the handle.
