Traded and Gone!
Up for trade is a Spyderco Dodo. I obtained my "grail" from the previous owner in March, who obtained it from the Seconds Sale (I believe.) However, I never learned to sharpen the curved S, and the handle is a little too polarizing for my fingers. So it's up for trade. As with all seconds, there is the notch ground into its spine. As for the reason it's a second, the only flaw that the original owner and I could find on the knife is that there's a slight click when the knife is opened. I believe the spring shifts against the ball and the lock face during opening, but whatever the cause, there is a click during the first part of opening. It does not affect the function of the knife in any way at all. Also, I accidentally snapped off a bit of the tip while scoring some plastic. It's a really small piece that's missing, and somewhat difficult to photograph. The scales are unblemished, but the blade does have some residue on it.
I'm mainly a Spyderco guy, but it really depends on the knife, to be honest. Mainly looking for knives in two catagories: "fancier", smaller dress knives. Not slipjoints, but some sort of modern gentleman's knife with a lock. The second is a discontinued or rare spyderco. Just for the collector in me. Any knife in any condition will be considered. (But if you offer a beat up gerber, it won't be considered for very long.
) The only thing that is fixed is the knife I'm trying to trade. Gently used knives are preferred, since I'll use them anyways. Trying to stay away from the more tactical black/g10/plastic handled knives. More interested in different handle materials, like titanium, wood, bone, or carbon fiber. And no hawkbills, serrations, or S shapes. Not that I don't like them, it's just I can't sharpen them.

Obviously the knives I'm listing below may not be the same value as the Dodo. I'd be willing to add/take money to make up for the deficit.

Oh, and I'm sorry, but CONUS only, I really don't want to risk one of the few knives I do have. Unless you are willing to essentially ship first and then trust that my package will make it to you.
