  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Spyderco Cat

The Cat is a very nice little knife. It's probably the best value you can get in the Spyderco line. It is cheaper than the Manbug and better built than the Persistence. The blade steel is just fine for most daily uses. The only thing I would do to that knife would be to make it with a narrower blade, but it really is a minor issue.

The Cat is about as good as it gets for EDC. I own 7 of them. No kidding. [I usually don't hoard that many, but I got a killer deal on them]. Note that depending on the production run, some have jimping and some not. Some have one kind of wire clip, and others a different kind. So there are slight variations in what you will see.

Yes, mine has no jimping. I really never felt the need for it, but I think it looks better with jimping.
