Looking for input on these Spydercos. Use on either of these would be just your general every day tasks and maybe occasionaly carry. About a $25 retail price difference.

Thanks for your opinions.

I don't own either, but have handled both. I'd pick the Centofante over the tenacious.

Cent III all the way! No questions asked. A much better knife than the tenacious IMO

I have both. The Centofante is a more classy looking design, with a thinner blade - hence better for food slicing.
The Tenacious is a robust utility knife. The steel of the Centofante should be better, but you wouldn't complain about the steel of the Tenacious.
For your usage, and EDC I would pick the Centofante. It also looks friendlier than the Tenacious, which may or may not be a decision factor where you live.
Also check the Centofante 4.

Hey Sufler,
I also have both knives. Kind of like comparing apples & oranges. Both knives are excellent in their own way. I like the Tenacious for heavy duty workhorse type chores while the Centofante111 is more of a gentlemans knife. You can get both for the same amount you would spend for 1 decent knife of another brand.

I'd go with a Cen 3 between the two listed. It's a good slicer.
The Cen 4 just looks kinda fugly with a warny blade in it. The 3 has always been the best in that line.

I have both and like both, but for the uses that you describe I would go with the Centofante III.

Cent 3 is better. Handle is a bit more slippery, though, if that makes a difference to you.
