Spyderco CF Military

Still I think it would be well worth those extra 50$, both as a collector and as user...

I sure wish they would make another run of these, in BG42. The one I HAD, you never had to sharpen it. like a dummie, I sold it. Lets get a petition up, and send to Sal, say we want another run.

I feel your pain. I sold a d2 military and nothing i had ever cut like that. Saw it the other day and it was rusted and looks like the orginal edge is gone. :(

 I hate it when you trade a great knife and the other person abuses the crap out of it.

I had a Millie in BG-42 at one point, but right now I'm sticking to mine in S90V.

BG-42 is a high grade ball bearing steel, and it's both pricey and rare. Getting some of it it entails receiving (and paying) for quantities that would almost do 2000+ blades. Sprint run of it would be nice, but it'd be expensive. As it was said before, I'd rather sink more money into the Ti millie.

I don't know if a petition is needed. Sal is watching paying full attention to his ELUs, and usually but not always if there is enough interest you just may see a run. If you haven't done so post this over at the Spyderco sub-forum.

As a user rather than a collector, I'd rather see it in S90V or S110V, but as someone who doesn't like metal handles or framelocks, the S30V will make it far easier to resist. I have enough knives I won't carry, I don't need to spend $275 on another.

I have mixed feelings about the framelock thing myself. I think Sal should use more of the amazing compression lock, I am addicted to it, especially with CF scales like on the Superhawk.
