Spyderco Chinook II : some lock work

...Just noticed that the pic in the link from Cliff's post on 3/30 is of the newest, flat ground Chinook (two-and-a-half? or Chinook III?) - would like to see if the new grind adds to tip strength or not - it probably does.

I've got the hollow ground II model and really love it. It gets more carry time & general use than any other knife I own - course it would do for SD in a pinch but that's not why I carry it. It's just a very useful knife and the blade reminds me of some of the fixed blades of my youth :thumbup: :thumbup:
 
thanks to Cliffs reign of terror and torture on the Chinook, i picked one up today.
