I have a used Spyderco Chinook for sale. 160.00 $155.00 $PF Shipped and PP'd, No trades (or will trade for a TI Military, or a Sage 2 ONLY) and No International shipping.
Story on this one.
This is one of the older 1st Gen Chinooks. Combo edge. Built like a tank.
Bought it used, and carried it a bit. When I got it, I did notice a wee bit of up and down play in the lock up.
So I then purchase a Gen 3 Chinook in plain edge. It has the same exact thing happening!
I sent this blade back to Spyderco a few weeks ago. I received it back last week. Spyderco has "spa'd" it (cleaning and sharpened all edges).
I will send the note from Spyderco to the buyer.

Blade centered, smooth action and strong lockup.
As I said, this is a Gen 1 version. It is pinned instead of screwed, except for the adjustable blade pivot.
Some scuffs and scars, but it's a hand full. Believe it!
