Hey guys, just found some pics and info on this knife alonge with the sumeritan. I am just wondering if these will really be released as autos. As i thought spyderco had no interest in doing so. Im thinking of reserving one, as they look great. But does anyone know the scoop on these things.
Thnks
Matt

Once I saw the pics of the Citadel from the Amsterdam meet, I knew I had to get my grubby hands on one. That was a while ago, is there a release date yet?

Whilst we're on the subject of Autos.... did anything more surface about the Embassy?

Due to the name i'm guessing it's a smaller or more slim knife designed for suits and the like.... but even that is more that i've actually seen confirmed.

Kristi? Sal? Anyone?

Spyderco will comply with all Federal Laws. The Citadel, Samaritan and any other Spyderco Automatic will only be sold to qualified buyers; our Authorized Dealers and Distributors are a supply source for qualified buyers.

Because Automatic knives are a legally regulated item, Automatics will be treated separately from our general Spyderco line, they will be specific to qualified buyers and therefore will not be included in the Collector’s Club.

What's the locking mechanism on the Citadel? Is it something new or something we're already familiar with?

Forgive me if I'm being obtuse, but doesn't a button operated automatic negate the usefulness of the hole?
Just seems odd.

I don't know about anyone else, but I would love to see that in a Frame or Compression lock, fully manual.

What about here in Czech republic for example - where autos are 100% legal? Also will there be manual version of Citadel?

Thanks.

David

From what i have been told by the spyderco people, it will only be available in auto for now,
