I was curious if anyone had a picture of one
since I have never seen one, or any opinions
about the coolness of the knife.

Have a look at the Spyderco section of BladeForums. Someone just posted pics of their CF models.

Zoso,
I happen to love highly polished CF though a lot of folks don't due to it being somewhat slippery. Polished CF's "coolness" is in it's 3-D or hologram effect. The Civilian's "coolness" is in it's dramatic looks which are pretty imtimidating. It's intention is self defense and it's pretty much useless for anything else due to it's extremely pointy, thin and fragile tip.

Shmackey's correct in that you can access a pic of one in a thread in the Spyderco Forum entitled, "CF Spydies, mounted, pics"!

I believe James K. Mattis mentioned a customer who bought one for collecting mushrooms. :D

My memory says that biggest civilian customer - not Jameses - was a mushroomfarm. Because of that fact he used to say that it is "good for mushroom harvesting". I belive that an old lady in James neighbourhood bought one /used Jameses to trim flovers in her garden.
