As I stated in the past, my INSTUCTOR ,has seen the result of many knife fights,many were the use of Hawkbill knives(Case )they didn't have lockbacks in the 40's!Stated blood lose was massive ,most hit with a Hawkbill died!!

Yes, Hawkbills are deadly! That is my wife's favorite blade type, and while she has never been in a knife fight nor had formal weapons training, she does work for a major metropolitan area's medical examiner's office as an investigator. If you don't know what field this is, think of the TV shows "Quincy" or "Crossing Jordan"....
