Well ever since Spyderco introduced their first knives I was in love. I bought one of the first knives they ever put out. How many can you own? Stupid question as the obvious answer is "as many as you want!" Well years went by & I bought many other knives from many other companies, but when the "Police" model came out I always had the hots for it. years went by I bought many other knives but I FINALLY bought the stainless steel "Police" model. When it arrived I was impressed with its strength & weight, but TOTALLY dismayed by the fact that it was SO SLIPPERY even in DRY hands. OK so I bought safety tape that is used on stairs so you don't slip. I cut a couple of strips & stuck them on the grips & WOW TOTALLY new knife! Night & DAY ! If you can't find this product I will send it to you. Just wanted to let you know.

I've used skateboard grip tape on my SS knives in the past with great success.... Just remember, don't put it on the side that contacts your pocket or you'll have a helluva time getting the knife out when you need it
