I am not sure where to post this or if its even allowed but i have a small gripe.. i have been desperately trying to get a para 2 in CTS-20CP and i have just lost my 5th auction on the bay in a row at the last second .. i believe someone possibly here read my posts or someone is trying to buy them all up and repost them.. either way its kind of a crummy thing to do.. $185 and in last second (literally) jumps to $198 i am quite sure its the same buyer i just hope i didnt screw myself by talking about it here. sorry but its very very frustrating to try 5 times and lose in literally the last 30 secs each time...

i am at a point where $190+ doesnt seem worth it to me especially when i have a M390 pre ordered i was hoping to carry the CTS-20CP for a few months till the M390 comes out and sell the one i don't want to keep... but at this point i can buy a S30V para 2 and a DMT deluxe 4 stone aligner for the same price as a CTS-20CP... its starting to look like a better option for me at this point

thanks its just extremely frustrating even when im sitting there clicking refresh ... ugh

I wish you luck, I would like a 20cp PM2 myself. Actually, what I really want is a s90v CF PM2. Too bad I wasn't paying attention when either first came out, so I can relate.

no worries i bought a para 2 s30v and a DMT aligner deluxe kit with 4 stones (inc extra fine) for less than the going rate for the CTS-20CP... ill EDC that till my pre order for the m390 comes and life will be good at this point im like F the cts lol

Sorry to hear that man. But as nightburn mentioned, welcome to the world of successful ebay purchasing. That is how you win auctions. Please don't take this the wrong way, I mean no harm but I doubt anyone here is interested in sabotaging your attempts to buy a knife. That would be a bit arrogant. More than likely it is someone that is going to flip it for even more money.

yeah my wife ( who actually has an ebay storefront) told me the person probably bought them all up to repost them all at a higher price to corner the market...

I doubt it. There wouldn't be enough markup to make it worth the time and effort.

They are easy enough to find on the forums in any event.

The last time I looked the same place you preordered the 390 also has the CTS-20CP in stock.

That's how ebay works. People "snipe" and submit a significantly larger bid in the last 15 seconds, get used to it. You could try posting in the WTB section of bladeforums:

^^What these guys said. That's just how successful eBay auction buying works. It's likely been a different person each time employing that same successful strategy, not some conspirator/saboteur trying to prevent you from getting the knife or buy them up to resell them.

ive already moved on yesterday.. like i said i have a M390 preordered and the S30v and DMT deluxe aligner were a smarter decision for me... if i come upon a reasonably priced cTS-20CP in the future then maybe ill pick one up.. i just cant see spending more money on a cts-20cp than the total cost of a new M390 doesnt seem fiscally responsible .

i know that ebay hides member names but the last 6 (now) auctions i have lost the winner was the same exact name all 6 times m***m( 40) either ebay likes using the same coded name for the winner or its the same person... and like my wife said the same person could be picking them all up for under $200 and reposting them (not immediately) at like $225-$250 she said that not unreasonable and shes even done similar things with childrens clothes (shes been selling over a decade with 40,000 sales) like i said ive moved on and im happy with my s30v purchase and sharpener (i really needed a new one) i will look forward to my M390 in the spring .. and maybe santa will get me a cts-20cp in the future :)

If you really want one combat tactical has them for $599. :)

If they leave feedback you can see their ebay ID. Just go to the sellers feedback and find the item the winning bidder will be listed if they left feedback.

I had the same thing happen to me with Kershaw Speedform 2's. I've been sniped on the last 4 I've bid on.

thanks for the feedback tip .. im gonna have to wait until they post feedback (if they do) i only lost these in the last 24-48hrs might be awhile.. most people wait until after they get the item to post feedback..it would be nice to have confirmation .. but alas thats the law of the ebay jungle

bb is selling them for almost $40 more than the highest auction sold for ..i know 185 on the bay is reasonable for it but i already have a M390 on order and i got a s30v for less than retail.. maybe ill pick one up at xmas time.. well see by then ill probably have moved on to my next knife obsession like most of us ;)

Just buy one from bbs
he is charging $220 plus shipping and insurance. I can be wrong, but I think it is too much.
Did you try to post on "wanted" section of the Forum?
It looks like yesterday one was sold on auction site for $188, and $175 two day before that. This is not so bad

i was going to but i pre ordered a blue para 2 in M390 and i got a s30v one for under retail... at this point id only take a cts-20cp if i can get it sub $175 and since i just spent that much on my knife and sharpener and my pre order i need to wait a little while

edit: i took your advice and posted in the want to buy forum ill see if i get any nibbles :)
