Hi, I was wondering if anyone has had problems with e-mail replies (or lack thereof) from spyderco customer service? I e mailed them a couple of times over a week regarding screws n such for my C111 captain, and there's been no reply to date (been almost a week since the last mail).

Any ideas what I should try next? Thanx.

Try calling them on the telephone. E-mail is not a reliable means of communication, especially with a company, and even moreso if you use a free e-mail account. Free e-mail accounts often trip spam filters, throwing your inquiry in with the cheap Viagra ads.

Just before I try and call, I figured I'd ask. Any other methods besides calling? Nothing against speaking to them; just that I'm in Australia and the price of a call to the US is a tad high. I will call them eventually if there's no other way, but figured I'd ask first. Thanx.

You could try sending a private message to one of the moderators on this forum, since they are all with Spyderco. I think Joyce is in charge of W & R.

Hi Jylong away,

The email seems to be working fine. Check your email address and try to email again. We've make recent changes in the department, but last I heard they had caught up on communications and all communications were current.

You might also try to email the store (SFO).

Thanx Sal and NGK-Webmaster! I've since been contacted by Charlyn from Customer Service and have been taken care of. Am looking to get a Spyderco Manix soon! Got one from an online dealer listed in the spyderco site, but had to send it back because the blade was quite offcenter and had some nicks in it. Hopefully the next one won't have that problem :D
