Spyderco Customer Service

Hello Gents,

I recently had to deal with Spyderco's Customer Service department.

I hate dealing with CS people as a general rule due to past bad experiences (not with Spyderco to be clear).

So I contacted Spyderco via email for a replacement clip and screws for one of my all time favorite Spydies (Bob Lum Chinese folder). They replied in a timely manner and I received the parts earlier this week (free of charge) :)

They even included a copy of the current catalog/price list :D

Needless to say I'm very impressed and even more of a fanboy than before (if that's possible) :o

I too just had the same experience, I contacted them for a few replacement parts. Not only did they send me what i asked for, but also a bunch extra, and a new catalog.. IMHO they have the best customer service in the market.

Good to hear they are consistent :) As for the catalog I kinda wish they didn't send it, like I need more prodding to by another Spyderco ;)

Oh well, buy I will :D
 
Well Lycosa,

There are so many choices :) I'm really waiting for the ZDP Bob Lum Chinese folder (like many I'm sure). In the mean time a C114 Phoenix or a new G10 Police would tie me over ;)

How about you Lycosa?
 
what i like about spyderco is knowing they have great customer service, but what i like best is not having to use it :D
 
I contacted Spyderco via email regarding a local retailer where I live about a week and a 1/2 ago. So far no response. I'm not too impressed with the CS. Great knives though.
