i need some help finding a good knife store in north carolina. i am from the greensboro, triad area and i was wondering if anybody knows of a good place to buy spyderco blades in this area... i am willing to look in charlotte and raleigh so let me know if you have any ideas aside from gander and bass pro shops

Becks cutlery in Cary, or Davis' in Raleigh.
tell me what your looking for- i pretty much know both their stocks by heart lol

awesome im looking for a a decent range of spyderco blades... in particular i am looking for a police, ocelot and the new khukri

Davis' (I believe) has all 3.
Is it cool to post phone #s to a shop?
Beck's has the new police and khukri I think but I'm not sure about the ocelot.

np. Im not sure if mods want us posting phone #s but they both have websites you can get contact info from. Becks is a little more expensive but it's a mom n pop shop and they have a good selection of spydies and I like spending my money there. Davis is a little cheaper and they have more selection of other things but not quite as many spydies- they've only been a spyderco dealer a couple years. Becks has some old stuff- I remember buying my first "clip-it" from him about '92 or so iirc.

If you have time, ride over to Smoky Mtn. Knife Works.

When I used to live in NC, I had a friend in Greensboro, and we would make it an overnight trip (or sometimes just one long day starting early in the morning) to the mecca of knifeland. Every knife knut needs to visit at least once and you are fairly close.

Today, when we drive back home to NC from KS, it takes us by there and my family knows daddy has to stop in for a knife fix.
