Just got this one in today. It's a very special knife where the BLADE AND HANDLE ARE THE SAME MATERIAL! I got mine in CPN-PlastiCut, some sort of new budget material that also glows.

Out the box- I mean bag, the knife was in pieces...what kind of quality control is this spyderco? Self assembled?

After assembly (no tools required, thankfully), I noticed that the pins that secure the knife had plastic breakaway sharp bits at the ends (where they used to connect go the frame), so it's hard to push the pins in with your fingers without injury. So, I bit them with my teeth to get them to go in.

The knife was sharp, I was able to cut my cheesecake without problem.
The lockup is surprisingly solid, but I heard PlastiCut doesnt make good lock material so we'll see how it wears over time as I OCD (obsessive compulsive deploy).
Oh and, it glows pretty well...in case you get into a tactical situation at night, it will sure to dumbstruck your opponent for 2.5-5sec.

In all seriousness, with all the stupid s*** going on in the world, I thought we could all use a little chuckle. The lock bar actuator piece (dont know technical term, the "other" plastic bit?) Is "machined" too thin, so theres a little gaping in the knife. I'm so extremely surprised it locks up so good.
As a spyderco fan (and being extremely disappointed with the 35$ baliyooooo) this is pretty cool for 17$. As a true knifeknut, I will give it a rudimentary edge and now I can finally bring my spyderco to work!
Give it a shot, seriously, its not bad
Take care guys, be well.
