I just couldn't help myself since I can now take a Delica apart. I wanted to see how good the lockup was.

I was very impressed. Everything had a superb fit and you can see that it locked up great.

And looky looky.....nice phosphor-bronze washers. :D

Thanks for the pic...I haven't the nerve to open up my new endura yet...but was curious as to how it might look.

You're very welcome. I had always wondered how the lockup looked and I just couldn't help myself from taking apart a perfectly good knife. ;)

In the process I actually sacrificed the knife. I ruined the black plastic spacer that holds the lock spring. That's the price ya pay taking stuff apart sometimes. ;)
 
Great pic! I love my delica; lock has never failed me and I have used my knife for tough farm chores.
