Hey guys,
I'm deciding on which to buy, ether the delica or the dragonfly. I semi recently bought an orange frn dragonfly just to see if I'd like it and turns out I love it. It's light I can barely tell its in my pocket (small girl pockets) since buy it I've been curious about the delica since it comes in many more colors and I've always wanted a bigger blade. My biggest concern is if the delica will be too bulky and uncomfortable in my pocket. I went out and bought the Byrd meadowlark 2 in stainless steel (that's all my store offered) to compared how it would feel in the pocket regulardless of its extra weight. I'm compared thickness of the meadowlark to my ftm dragonfly and obviously the delicas handle will be thicker than the meadowlark. Sooo super long story short, should I invest in a delica and take my chances with less pocket room possible gouges in my sides due to tiny girl pockets or should I go for another dragonfly since I've been eyeing the dragonfly ss tattoo version and just stick with what I know. Also my main uses for this knife is opening boxes, thick plastic and any other every day tasks, I work in a kitchen so I use different knives for handling food.

Thanks guys! Any help is appreciated 😊

Well, I've had the FRN meadowlark 2 and the dragonfly 2 but not the delica, am currently carrying a caly3. Delica is same thickness as dragonfly but longer and different clip. It's the same length and thickness as the caly but again different clip. Did you mind the extra length and the clip on the Meadowlark? Did you find its added length any more useful than the dragonfly? There are ways around small pockets - Have you tried carrying either knife in a different pocket (e.g. back-pocket) or tucked inside your waste-band (how i generally carry knives in an office-setting)?

I didn't keep either dragonfly I've owned because the handle is too small for me, prefer the caly3, but that tattoo DF is pretty sweet  If you don't really find much use for a longer blade and handle, I'd invest in that fancy dragonfly over a plastic-handled delica, you can always get one of those later if you change your mind. That's my $0.02
