Nice. But like my other Military 2s a little bit of lock stick. Maybe intented ? Who knows.
Most of mine have a small amount of lock stick, this Salt version (surprisingly enough) doesn’t! The original S30V that I bought when M2s were released had the most. It got worse the more I opened it, to the point I took it apart. The comp lock tab had abnormal wear for such a new knife. Took pictures and documented in a thread here, just don’t remember which one.

With the addition of aftermarket titanium scales, I swapped in a black stop pin I had laying around and bent the lock bar(very slightly) to release tension. Knife works perfectly now and is a joy to use.

I assume Rockscale nested liner Ti scales ?

Thanks !

Check this out, DA170 DA170 .... I'm thrilled how it came out. Smooth as butter now. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

Can’t tell because of the lighting…are those the new Dark Washed scales? Looks great 😊

Thanks ! No, these are the most basic ones, nested liner, media blast. Just as excited that I got the action tuned just right now.

My original S30V M2 was off center and didn’t change when I put on RC BladeWorks scales..tried all the tricks. When I installed these Titanium scales the knife came out perfect!

Just got mine yesterday, had to wait a little longer because they sold out again right before I went to place an order after the last comment to me in this thread 😂. They're back in stock at national though, and they were a pleasure to do business with. A teensy bit of lock stick but not bad, and had to back a pivot screw out a tiny bit because it was a little tight but action is perfect now. Added a tiny bit of rem oil to the pivot, it's smoothing out. I'm excited to try out the Magnacut steel. The scales don't seem to shred pockets any worse than the standard ones to me yet, but man were the pocket clip screws tight I really thought I might strip them. I think Spyderco needs to do a poll to see who prefers tip up and tip down on their knives and start shipping them all the way the poll favors 😁
