The aggressiveness tames out after about 15-25 knives. Mine has worn to a medium grit. Not as coarse

Sept now, I still carry this every day in my small pocket of my Carhartt pants, fits in with about 1/2" exposed to allow to draw it out, use it a lot at work on both my knives as well as others folks that need a touch up, the cbn side still appears to cut well, but then I have made sure to NOT press hard when using that side so as not to pull the particles from the metal, that I think is key to keeping this going a long time.
