The full-flat-ground blade of this unique knife has a HAP40 tool steel core sandwiched between layers of SUS410 stainless steel. Rich in tungsten, molybdenum, vanadium and cobalt, HAP40 is a high-speed powder metallurgy tool steel renowned for its extreme toughness and abrasion resistance. Like all the HAP40 Sprint Runs, this knife features FRN handles injection molded in a distinctive burnt-orange color.
